Home Groups

Grace Church has restarted our small groups (or care groups, life groups, or community groups). By these different names we mean the same thing: a group of people who are members, attenders, or visitors to Grace Presbyterian Church who meet for fellowship, encouragement, support, discipleship, Bible study, prayer, and perhaps even meals in order to connect and be a part of each other’s lives more than just on Sunday.  The concept is based on the Greek word Koinonia, which means Christian fellowship or community.

The mission of the small group ministry of Grace Presbyterian Church is to deepen the fellowship and community life of our church family and to invite new people into the life of our family. If we think in terms of images, Grace Church is both a school and a family. We gather on the Lord’s Day to worship and learn God’s Word so that we may grow together as a body of believers. That is the “school” part. But we are also a family, and while many people gather informally at various times, we desire for the ministry of the church to foster these times of fellowship. That is the “family” part.
