MISSIONS

In Matt. 28:19-20 and Acts 1:8, Jesus instructs his disciples to “make disciples of all nations,” and to “be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Grace has increasingly endeavored to discharge the Great Commission through its missions program both in the United States and around the world by partnering in prayer and financial support with men and women who have committed themselves to the mission field.  Grace has also fielded short-term missions trips to Fairmont, West Virginia to improve the lives of some living in poverty in Appalachia.  Many but not all of the missionaries Grace supports are affiliated with the PCA’s Mission to North America (https://pcamna.org/), to the PCA’s Mission to the World (https://mtw.org/), or to the PCA’s Reformed University Ministries.

Listed under Grace Supported Core Missionaries in alphabetical order are “core” missionaries whom Grace supports financially on a collective and continuing basis, including those serving on college campuses.  In addition to “core” missionaries, other “visiting” missionaries have shared their ministries at Grace and are supported on an individual and/or “love offerings” and continuing prayer basis.  Finally, also listed is one who currently serves as chaplains in the US Navy who has distinct ties to Grace and for whom we pray regularly.  Two other military chaplains have recently retired.

On February 19–20, 2021, Grace Church participated in MTW’s Virtual Mission Conference “His Story Continues.”  Though virtual due to the pandemic, the technology allowed greater participation than historically possible, allowing Hudson to visit in person with MTW missionaries throughout the world.
