MERCY MINISTRIES
The Bible has an estimated 2000 references to serving the poor, the needy, widows and orphans. For example, Proverbs 14:31 teaches: “Whoever oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honors God.”
In addition to God-honoring service and support provided by individual members, Grace also encourages and supports collective efforts, including the following.
The Emergency Assistance Center
APS Christmas Giving Tree
Annually, Grace Church sponsors a Christmas Giving Tree to provide gifts (typically necessities) for children of clients of Akron Pregnancy Services. It is our hope and prayer that the recipients of these gifts will come to know Jesus as both Savior and Lord. Visit our Missions page at https://gracechurchpca.org/13235-2/

PCA Retirement & Benefits: Ministerial Relief
PCA churches around the country collect donations to look after widows, retired ministers and PCA church servants in distress. The funds are administered through the PCA Ministerial Fund to provide financial assistance and support to our faithful servants, many of whom live near or below the poverty line. Donations help pay for basic needs like groceries, housing, and medical expenses. Visit pcarbi.org/lookafter.
